  • ASTM-B8 Standard Specification for Concentric-Lay-Stranded Copper Conductors
  • ASTM-787 19 Standard Specification for Wire Combination Unilay-Stranded Copper Conductors

Construction

  • Soft annealed bare copper, stranded, per ASTM B8
  • Heat, moisture and abrasion resistant cross-linked polyethlene (XLP) per UL 44 or ASTM 854

Applications

  • RHH, RHW and USE-2 may be installed in conduit and other recognized raceways for control and power in residential and commercial buildings, industrial plants and substations
  • USE-2 may be directly buried as underground service entrance cable at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90°C
  • When used as RHH, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in dry locations
  • When used as RHW-2 or USE-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations
  • RHH, RHW-2 and USE-2 conductors are rated 600V
